Help Micaiah Smile Again After Her Accident

On May 13, Micaiah was involved in a serious bike accident that left her with multiple injuries, including broken ribs, facial trauma, and damaged teeth. She spent 9 days in the hospital and is now on the road to recovery. It’s been a long, painful process, but she’s staying incredibly strong and focused—one step at a time.

Micaiah is 15-years-old and an upcoming sophomore at Colorado Early Colleges in Castle Rock, where she’s working toward both her high school diploma and an associate’s degree in general studies simultaneously—a challenging program that she is fully committed to and really thriving in. She’s a creative soul and a talented artist, with big dreams of becoming a graphic designer—maybe even designing video games one day. While school hasn’t always been easy for her, she’s finally found her rhythm—earning straight A’s and growing more confident in who she is and what she’s capable of as a young adult.

Micaiah truly is one-of-a-kind and has always marched to the beat of her own drum—quiet, thoughtful, and happiest doing her own thing, but she has a deep curiosity about the world and a passion for traveling, learning about other cultures, and letting those experiences inspire her art.

This accident could’ve set her back in a hundred ways—but it hasn’t. Through it all, she’s kept her dry, sharp sense of humor that we love so much—it’s one of the many things that makes her uniquely Micaiah. She’s staying positive, working hard on her recovery, and determined to keep moving forward. We’re just trying to make the road ahead a little smoother for her.

We’re raising money to help cover the things insurance won’t—dental surgeries, specialist visits, therapy, and anything else she needs to heal and feel like herself again. Every donation goes directly toward her care and helping her get back to the future she’s been working so hard for.
