I never imagined I would be in this position, but here I am. My friends and family know that I am not one to ask for help, but I am reaching out now because I truly need it. Since losing my husband a couple of years ago, life has been a struggle, and a recent back injury has made things even harder. I am currently unable to work and am in the long process of applying for disability, which could take months before any assistance arrives.

Right now, I have no money coming in. I have been working with MID and PG&E on payment plans, but today I woke up to find that my utilities have been shut off. I have just 72 hours to get them restored, or my family and I will be evicted from our apartment. The stress and uncertainty are overwhelming, and I am doing everything I can to keep us safe and together.

The funds raised will go directly toward paying for our utilities and helping us stay in our home while I wait for disability benefits to begin.
