Help 15-Year-Old Micah Troy Evans Recover from a Devastating Car Accident

Hi everyone,

My name is Sharine Reyes, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my nephew, Micah Troy Evans, a bright and loving 15-year-old high school student from Roaring Creek Village, Cayo District, Belize.

On Sunday, May 11th, 2025, Micah was on his way to spend the weekend with his uncle in Spanish Lookout when tragedy struck. There was an unexpected mishap, and the vehicle overturned, leaving Micah critically injured.

He suffered a traumatic brain injury and underwent emergency surgery for hematoma bleeding in his brain. Since then, he has been in a coma and is currently listed in critical condition at Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH). He has already had three CT scans, daily X-rays, and continues to receive round-the-clock intensive care.

This is every parent's nightmare. Micah’s parents, Raymond Evans and Luciana Chiac, are by his side, praying for a miracle. Micah is a kind-hearted, funny, and promising young man who still has so much life ahead of him.
