Micah is a 20-year old kind-hearted person with an affinity for making people laugh and bringing joy everywhere he goes. Each and every person who has had the pleasure of connecting with him describes him as the kindest, most loving, funny, joyful person they know.  The world around him is brightened by his presence.

This beautiful soul needs our help now.

Micah was born in a small village in Ethiopia and lost both his birth parents at a young age. He was adopted by a family in Georgia at the age of ten. His adopted family has been unsupportive of his transition so he left Georgia and has been living out of his car since. Micah has been working for food delivery services to make ends meet.

Micah was hospitalized due to severe depression one month ago and is currently recovering in a residential treatment program. Despite Micah's health insurance paying the majority of his hospital expenses, he will be left with a large hospital bill consisting of a minimum of $2,400 in co-pays. (He will receive the final bill once he is checked out of the residential program.)

Once Micah pays off his current medical debts, he will continue to face challenging rates for ongoing therapy and psychiatry. Any funds exceeding his co-pay will go towards long-term mental health support.
