Help Micah Continue His Graduate Studies
Donation protected
Hello and thank you for even reading this far! My name is Micah and I am a 2024 graduate of SUNY Buffalo State's undergraduate Speech-Language Pathology program. I graduated with the distinction of Summa Cum Laude and have been an honors recipient of the school as well as the recipient of the Outstanding Service - Learning Student Award from the Dr. Katherine S. Conway-Turner Office of Civic and Community Engagement. As of this spring, I have been accepted into the graduate studies program beginning in August of this year and elected President of the SUNY Buffalo State chapter of the National Black Association of Speech-Language and Hearing.
However, as I took on the task of completing my junior and senior years due to financial aid complications, I also took on an increased financial burden. Because of this, I am in the precarious position of owing a hefty sum to my school which will prevent me from being allowed to attend come this fall. If not paid down, my tuition balance will put my educational journey on hold with no guarantee of future acceptance into the program.
I understand that the amount I am asking is substantial and no one I know, to my knowledge, is a millionaire. Please know that I am not placing the onus solely on those able to donate; I am working full-time to raise as much as I can on my own. However, my time is limited and I cannot reach this goal without help.
The biggest help would be to share and spread the word. There are so many more important fundraisers and more pressing issues in the world. Yet, I ask for whatever assistance you can provide: a share, a repost, a single dollar. If there are 7,000 people who can give just that or 700 who can spare $10, I can reach my goal and continue towards my next graduation. Anything and everything is appreciated.
