Micah has been invited to attend the Black Pilots of America Summer Flight Academy from July 11–25, 2026, and we couldn’t be more proud. This year hasn’t been easy for him. He battled medical issues and hospital admissions, but even on his hardest days, he stayed focused, kept his grades strong, worked a full-time job, and continued helping at home. Now, Micah has entered remission and has been medically cleared to hit the skies! At just 16, he was even promoted to Team Lead at work. He truly never stops pushing forward.

We have already paid the deposit to secure his spot, and the remaining balance is due by the end of June. Micah is picking up extra hours, and I’m working hard alongside him to make this opportunity happen. The program and related expenses are a significant investment, but we believe in his dream and want to give him every chance to succeed.

I’m not one to ask for help, but Micah has worked incredibly hard and this experience brings him one step closer to his dream — and his first solo flight. If you’re able to support, any amount helps. If not, sharing means just as much. Thank you for believing in him.
