It’s common to go silent with emotional abuse, and my best friend was silent until Friday, May 14, 2021, when she believed she had no recourse in getting help for what she has been going through for who knows how long. She recently had a baby early, due to stress and had to go back to work early to continue supporting her children. Instead of asking for help, she is trying to work a second job, and selling a lot of her household items. If you can help, the money will go towards fixing the essential parts of the house in order to make it a safe living condition for the family, a new phone (he broke hers), food, gas, and counseling for her and her children. Any small amount is helpful. I want to show her that she is not alone.
