Malani celebrated her 6th birthday with Jesus today. The Lord welcomed her into heaven with open arms, where she can run, play, and sing her heart out. This sweet girl struggled with health issues since she was just a toddler. Her mother Mia (Maria) has been fighting to give her all of the best memories life could present a child her age. Mia has been an example of what true love is when it comes to loving a child.

With a heavy heart we have the news of Malani’s passing. On January 14, 2025, she left this earthly world surrounded by her loving family.

Her mother Mia will need all of the love and support to journey through unimaginable grief. This gofundme will help give Malani the ceremony she deserves to celebrate her beautiful life, it will help Mia cover unexpected medical expenses accrued from caring for her daughter, and help provide Mia with a safe place to heal while she isn’t able to work. Attempting to work or engage in regular daily life after losing a child is beyond difficult.

We ask that you give her family space to heal, the space to feel everything they need to feel, and the grace they deserve after this immense loss.

Please pray for Mia daily, lift her entire family up in prayer as well, ask for strength, guidance, patience, and understanding. May God look over her, while He holds her daughter close to His heart.

If you would like to offer condolences, you are welcome to write a card and bring it during her ceremony of life. Please do not approach her family by mailing cards, or bringing books about loss. This just makes it harder, by being reminded she is gone. Please refrain from ever saying that this was a part of Gods plan. That hurts even more. Malani, even though life was difficult, you blessed this world with your beautiful soul. Thank you for existing, thank you for loving life, and thank you for reminding us that great things come in small packages. We will always love and remember you, in all that we do.
