Hi everyone,

My name is Sadie, and I’m reaching out with a very heavy heart. My sweet dog Mia—my best friend, my shadow, and a huge piece of our family, is in need of ACL knee surgery. She’s only 6 years old, full of love, and usually bursting with her silly, happy energy. Seeing her struggling to walk and in pain has been absolutely heartbreaking.

Mia has been with me through EVERYTHING, from being homeless to having a whole little mini human. She is the definition of a soul dog. She’s the dog who greets us with tail wags on our worst days, who curls up next to us when we’re tired or sick, who makes our family feel complete. She’s gentle, goofy, patient and loving. She doesn’t deserve to hurt like this.

Unfortunately, the surgery she needs is more than I’m able to afford on my own. As much as I wish I could take care of it myself, the cost is simply too high right now. Asking for help is really hard for me but I’d do anything to get Mia back to living the happy, pain-free life she deserves.
