The Situation
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart for my sweet girl, Mia.
Anyone who knows Mia knows she is the light of my life. Unfortunately, Mia managed to swallow a linear foreign body (string/thread). This is a life-threatening emergency; the string is causing her intestines to bunch up, and without immediate surgical intervention, her organs could suffer permanent damage.
The Cost of Care
Because this is an emergency procedure involving internal surgery and post-operative monitoring, the costs have added up instantly. I have been quoted between $2,000 and $2,500 for:
Emergency diagnostic X-rays and bloodwork
The surgical procedure to remove the obstruction
Hospitalization, IV fluids, and pain management
How You Can Help
I want to give Mia every possible chance to live a long, happy life, but this sudden expense is more than I can manage alone.
Donate: Any amount—even $5 or $10—goes directly toward Mia’s vet bill.
Share: If you aren’t able to donate, please consider sharing this link with your friends, family, or fellow cat lovers.
Mia is a fighter, and with your help, I know she can pull through this. I will provide updates on her surgery and recovery as soon as I have them.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
