Hello, my name is Mia, so here's the thing... I got my car taken and it's sitting in a tow yard, let's just say I'm panicking.
I hate asking for help, and usually don't accept it when it's offered. Due to my "I can do it myself" mindset. But, my hands are tied, I can only do what I can-which is limited, and I figure a closed mouth ain't never going to be fed. So here it goes...
I live in a small town and have a minimum wage job, so when the wintertime comes, hours get cut... and if anyone knows what that is like, it's hard to afford your basics, let alone a first payment for registration on a vehicle, and a tow fee.
I just bought the car a little over a month ago, so I'm pretty upset about losing my first car that I've ever owned, let alone it being within walking distance of my home.
I almost reached my goal to get my car registered, and was literally on the way to the DMV the next morning, but I got it towed less than three blocks from my house, on the way home from work. I have an injured foot so it was a last resort to get home in the rain.
Talk about a "holiday surprise" haha.
I am asking for anyone's help, anyone who can spare a couple dollars, anything would help in this situation. I have a tow fee and a couple other expenses that I need help paying for.
Usually, this is the literal last thing that I would ever ask for. But when hard times come, sometimes you have to bite the bullet and ask for a hand when you're down.
To anyone that donates, I couldn't appreciate your contribution more than I can right at this moment. Thank you for your time and effort in advance.
I don't want to beg, but a helping hand right now could bring me out of this with positivity and some good vibes.
Anything is appreciated. I hope to give back just like this site does for so many down and out people out there.
Much love and God Bless,
Mia T
