Help Mia Get A Duodenal Switch (Bariatric Surgery)

Hey everyone! My name is Laura, and Mia is hands down one of the nicest people I have ever met. I am very lucky to call her a friend. She does so much for her community and is always there for her friends and family. I’m asking everyone to consider donating even just $5 to help supplement the cost of a duodenal switch surgery. Mia has met with several doctors who have expressed that this surgery is considered medically necessary for her. She has several underlying health issues and this would really be life changing for her in the best way possible. Unfortunately, bariatric coverage is a plan exclusion on her current health insurance plan through her job. She is trying to raise money herself, but it would be amazing if we could all band together and give her a hand.
