Hi. My name is Mia

Since Thursday, my life changed suddenly. I was diagnosed with Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), a serious autoimmune disease that is destroying my platelets and putting me at risk of internal bleeding.

My mom rushed me to two clinics in Orlando, and because my condition was critical, I was referred to the College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, where I am now hospitalized under specialized care.

I have already received one platelet transfusion, and today I will receive another as the doctors work hard to stabilize me. These first days are very delicate

The hospital bill has now reached $7k, and the doctors estimate that Mia will need to remain hospitalized for approximately 4 more days.

We are continuing to trust in God and we are deeply grateful for every donation, every prayer, and every message of support. This journey is not over yet, but we are staying strong for our sweet Mia.

I am still fighting. I recognize my mom. I try to walk. I just want to go home with her.
