My daughter Mia was due August 20th, but she arrived 7 weeks early on July 1st because my wife Delphia developed preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. It was a scary time, and Delphia needed an emergency c-section to protect both her and Mia. Thankfully, they are both doing amazing now, but the journey has been overwhelming.

While Delphia is about to be discharged, Mia needs to stay in the NICU for a while longer. The hospital found us a place to stay nearby, which is a huge relief, but I have to return home to work. It’s heartbreaking to be apart from my girls during such an important time, and I want to be there for them as much as possible.

The funds raised will help cover our usual house bills if I’m able to get away, medical bills, and travel expenses so I can stay close to Mia and Delphia.
