Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to share my daughter Mia Nicasio’s journey and ask for support as she takes an exciting step in her wrestling career. Mia is 16 years old (turning 17 soon) and will graduate in 2027. When she first started high school, she joined the wrestling team with very little experience. In her first season, she earned “Most Improved.” By her sophomore year, she was already placing in tournaments and went on to take 5th place at state. Now, as a junior, Mia placed 3rd at state and OSSA, and competed in the OWA 2026 freestyle and Greco tournaments, where she earned 3rd in freestyle and 2nd in Greco—qualifying her to compete at the USA Wrestling Fargo Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota in 2026. This is an incredible opportunity for her to compete at the national level.

The trip comes with expenses for travel, lodging, registration, and food. Mia will be traveling with her team and coach, and this fundraiser is to help support her expenses, as I won’t be able to attend due to the cost. We are doing our best to cover part of the cost, and any support would mean so much to us. We truly understand times can be tough, and we don’t expect to reach our full goal—every amount helps, and even sharing this page makes a big difference.
