Hi everyone. Our names are Mamma Mia, and Nicholas.
If you're reading this you probably know our Mom and Dad, AngeliaTellone and Angelo Collura.
This past Sunday we had a pretty awful day. The details are very scary and upsetting for us and our parents. But basically we were violently attacked by a big dog while on our leashes for our morning walk with our mom. She is okay, but still very traumatized. We on the other hand, are lucky to be alive. We both had to go to the doggie Hospital. And we have severe injuries. One of us was in ICU for 5 days and had to have a kidney removed, and extensive surgery. The other one of us had surgery also , but not as severe. We are home now, and trying to recover and heal emotionally and physically. We have a long road ahead. And our parents certainly have their hands full caring for both of us, and we can tell they are super upset. But we know how much they love us, and they are taking really good care of us and we are all praying that , and ,we're pretty sure...hopefully we will all be okay. Things are looking good for that.
Our parents are very proud people. They really like to do things on their own, they don't like to ask anyone for anything. They tell us all the time, how blessed we all are. But we think this is going to be pretty hard on them. We overheard them saying for the doggie hospital to take care of us and fix us it was something like $12,000. We don't know how much that is but it sounds like an awful lot. We know it's the holidays, and theres lots of animals and humans that need help this time of year, and we don't want anyone to do something they can't afford to do. But if you can afford to help us a little bit, it would be great!
We really love our mom and dad, and we know how much they love us. So thanks everyone.
Your prayers really mean more than anything! We are little Fighters, and we will get through this.
Thanks so much.
Love
Mamma Mia and Nicholas.
