Life-Saving Surgery for Maria
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Mark. I am second to the youngest of 8 children. It is a given fact that kids are raised by parents, but growing up I also had the privilage to be raised by my two older sisters, Maria and Ma-ann.
Our family is small and tight-knit so whenever one person needed help, we would all pitch in ways to help one another.
My sisters sacrificed a lot for me and I wouldn't be the person I am today without them. And so, I am asking for your kindness in trying to get my sister the help she needs.
On the morning of February 29, Maria was having an office meeting from her graveyard shift it was then when she felt like she had a bad headache and opted to be excused from the meeting. Thinking maybe it was just from being sleep deprived, she took a nap at which she then fell unconscious. Her co-workers then tried to wake her up but were not successful, so they opted to take her to the hospital. There it was diagnosed that she had suffered from a mild stroke, and with further testing, discovered she has a Subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Currently, her insurance only covers for ER charges but everything else is out-of-pocket. The procedure alone can cost up to $20,000. This is not including the hospital stays and medicine which we anticipate she will need.
The donations we asking for will hopefully be enough to cover her operation and maybe some of the miscellanous fees from the hospital.
We are hoping with the help you give, we can find a way to get Maria the surgery she needs.
