I'm Aaliyah the owner of Miss Garrett's vegan soul,
I started this journey 3 years ago and never did i think it would be as amazing as it have been. I’m so appreciative of all the support i have been getting thus far.
Miss Garrett's vegan soul is a family own business with recipes that have been passed down and that i have made vegan friendly. Cooking is my passion , being a single mother of four allows me to come up with more ideas and creative more healthy recipes. When I became vegan 3 years ago I did it for medical reason for my daughter that was diagnose at birth with a heart condition, and for my son that was diagnosed at one years old with an abnormal strain of lupus/ sickle cell, never did I think in a million years my kids would no longer need the meds they were taking because of a lifestyle change.
We have hosted several pop-ups they have been good but with the numbers we had we are still not making the right numbers we need to so we can opening up...
Being in the kitchen i let my mind take control and come up with amazing dishes that i can add to my menu, when creating my dishes it’s not just about taste it’s about nutrients and presentation and what this dish can bring to your soul...
Day after day looking and searching I had to keep positive vibes and not give up,the search has not been easy, looking for the right location to make a home for MGVS.
Now that we have found an amazing location so we can bless your souls with our cooking.
We are asking for the help of the community To help with whatever you can so MGVS can bless the community with our amazing food
