Help Mewza Defend Their Artistic Rights

I’m a young artist who’s in a very difficult situation: a legal battle against two big companies, "Roy and Charcle LLC.": the creators of a globally popular game, and "Phatmojo", a toy manufacturer. This involves the rights to my original creation, "Mewza Purple."

This design means a lot to me. I designed it in 2022 as part of a personal project, putting most of everything I love about character design into it. Unfortunately, these companies have claimed ownership of my design and I believe they are profiting from it without my consent, credit, or compensation. I’m now in a fight to protect what’s mine and ensure that independent creators like me are treated with fairness and respect.

This has been a draining experience, both emotionally and financially. The companies I’m up against have vast resources and legal teams, while I'm just part of a small family. I’m reaching out because I need help to keep this fight going.

In 2022, I created my purple design as part of a personal art project for my 16th birthday. It was something I was very proud of and shared with someone I had previously worked with on a project. I even offered to sell the character to them, but instead of responding, they cut off contact with me.

Months later, I discovered that a toy resembling my design was being sold, with no credit, acknowledgment, or compensation given to me. Since then, I’ve filed a lawsuit to protect my creation and my rights. In response, these companies have used aggressive legal tactics, including filing a separate lawsuit against us filled with false allegations and sent DMCA strikes to take down my work online.

Recently, my lawyer resigned after we disagreed on how to proceed with the case. I didn’t want to give up my rights to my own work, but now, my family and I are left trying to defend ourselves without proper legal representation. That’s why I’m reaching out, I need your help to keep going.

Legal fees, especially against opponents like these, can add up incredibly quickly, with court filings, attorney's fees and even basic expenses like travel. We urgently need your financial help to hire new legal representation.

This is not really just about me: it’s about standing up for all independent creators who deserve to have their work respected and protected. I believe that creators like me, who pour their heart and soul into what they make, should have the right to control and protect their creations, no matter how big the companies they’re up against.
