When I first created this fundraiser, it was because my cat Mew Two had been diagnosed with fatty liver disease and needed life-saving treatment. I was hopeful he could get better and come home.

Sadly, things didn’t turn out the way we hoped. After doing everything we could and working closely with the vet, his condition didn’t improve, and we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to let him go peacefully.

Mew only was here for 5 years, but he was my soul-pet. In those short years he became such a huge part of our home and life, and losing him has felt like losing a piece of me.

The funds raised will now go toward the medical care we tried for him, his end-of-life veterinary costs, and his cremation. Altogether, these expenses came to about $1,100.
