Help Metztli Access Life-Saving Gender-Affirming Care

Hi, my name is Metztli (They/Them), and I’m a Brown Undocumented Two-Spirit Trans Masc person fundraising for top surgery.

I’m an artist, entrepreneur, activist and community organizer in Kumeyaay Lands (San Diego)

This surgery is not just gender-affirming; it’s life-saving. As an undocumented person, my access to healthcare is extremely limited.

Without top surgery, I face immense challenges to my safety and well-being. If deported, I would be at high risk of violence simply for existing as my true self. This fundraiser is my only path toward receiving the care I need. I have been medically transitioning for two years.

Despite the many hardships I’ve faced in accessing gender-affirming care as an undocumented person, I’ve refrained from asking for help—until now.

Gender-affirming care saves lives, but unfortunately, many of us are denied access to the care we need. That’s why I’m reaching out and asking for your support. Anything you can contribute—whether it’s donating, sharing, or spreading the word—brings me one step closer to living safely and authentically.

Currently it cost about $13,000 plus aftercare to pay for top surgery. All funds will be used to pay for Top Surgery and aftercare! Additionally I will not be able to move for at least a month which means my ability to work will also be limited.
