My name is Marco, and I’m organizing this fundraiser to support someone I recently met named Metro.

I came across Metro while driving one evening and noticed he was helping people cross the road safely at night — completely free, simply because he didn’t want anyone else to go through what he experienced. After talking with him, I learned he has personally been hit by a car multiple times in the past. Instead of stepping away from that danger, he chose to stand there and protect others.

Metro never asked for attention or money. He simply shows up.

Beyond that, he’s working hard to save for a car so he can secure stable transportation. He has also been supporting his sister who is in college by paying the apartment they currently stay in. He currently pays about $1,500 a month in rent while living with his sister, who is putting most of her income toward school so she can build a better future for herself. With the cost of living rising and job stability uncertain, saving for a vehicle has been extremely difficult.

This fundraiser was created with Metro’s permission to help him get reliable transportation and provide some stability so he can continue moving forward.

100% of the funds raised will go directly toward purchasing reliable transportation and covering related expenses for Metro. I will personally provide updates and documentation so everyone can see exactly how the funds are used.
