Help Meta-Care Expand and Thrive in Metamora, Michigan

Hi, my name is Rick and I'm hoping that I can connect with some very generous donors to help out Dawn Hart, her fiancé Shawn Carrie and Dawn's daughter, Kylee Morton. They have started an assisted-living facility, Meta-Care, in Metamora Michigan. Meta-Care is designed to help families that can no longer help their own elderly family members. While they have managed to survive their first year as self-employed owners, in order to keep their doors open and hopefully expand the business into the second and third floors of the facility, they need your help.

Meet Shawn:

Shawn is a 45 year old man, with three daughters, that was diagnosed with progressive multiple sclerosis over 21 years ago. This ailment has him confined to a wheelchair. He has worked at an IT engineer for the last 15 years, but his disease has made working intolerable and he has been forced to retire. He is not even able to feed himself at this point. Unfortunately, he has to wait six months in order to collect any disability monies, so he is without any income at this time. Even with this disability, Shawn is just the most pleasant person with an unbelievable positive attitude towards life.

Meet Dawn:

Dawn is a 45 year old earth angel with a son and two daughters. She was put here on earth to help every possible person that she can while ignoring her own needs. Dawn has always been a people person whether she was working as a waitress, a bartender or as a nursing provider. While Dawn was providing nursing services, she met Shawn and over time they both fell in love with each other. They teamed up to buy an abandoned assisted-living facility and put in countless hours renovating the building with the help of Shawn's life savings. Just recently Shawn proposed to Dawn and Dawn said "YES"! Families of current and past residents can not praise Dawn and her staff enough for all the love they provide to their residents. Even visiting social workers have the same high praise for Dawn, Kylee and their employees.

Meet Kylee:

Kylee is a 23 year old nursing student that has a husband and a two year old daughter. She balances out her student life, family life and her life at the facility like a pro. She's very much like her mother in that she has a lot of empathy for the residents at Meta-Care. The residents just adore her!
