Help Mestre Jonas Provide Juliana's Care

My name is Philip Galinsky, Founder and Director of Samba New York! I am raising funds for my dear friend and one of my main samba teachers, Mestre Jonas, who is a legendary samba percussionist and bateria (drum section) conductor in Rio de Janeiro. Mestre Jonas' 28-year-old daughter Juliana has developed breast cancer, and unfortunately, it has spread to her bones. This campaign is to collect funds to help Mestre Jonas pay for Juliana's expensive medical treatments in Brazil and to help them cover basic living expenses for their family, including Juliana's young child, while neither of them is able to work as much as they could before, due to the time spent coordinating and undergoing medical treatment. I ask that you consider donating whatever you are able to help Mestre Jonas give his daughter the best treatment she can get.
