Help Merridith Mongone's Girls

Update: Please donate to this fund in lieu of flowers. Frankie would like this fund to be used now to help his girls go to college. It was really important to Merri/Merridith for her girls to have a good education. 

This site is for Merridith Mongone, also known as Merri. She is our mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, coworker or 4th grade teacher. She is an amazing woman who is fighting for her life at UNC Chapel Hill. This fundraiser is for her. Thank you for any donations!

 

She contacted COVID in early August. She was doing ok and then started having trouble and was taken to the hospital. WakeMed in Cary, NC did a great job taking care of her, but realized she needed more than they had to offer. They were able to get her a bed at UNC. Once at UNC she was put on ECMO and continues to fight for her life. Frankie and Merridith have 4 beautiful daughters to raise. We pray she will come home everyday. This fundraiser is to help with her hospital bills, long term therapy and if any is left after that it will be used for the girls education.
