Support Mermaid Through Midwifery School

My sweet community,

One thing I've learned throughout our journey is to know when the vision is bigger than myself- to know when to ask for help. And now is the time.

My passion for families began with a passion for preschool, special education, and nanny work at just 15 years old. I have spent the last 13 years of my life serving - from in home daycares, to the school district, to serving women in a variety of ways, and the path has finally led me to birth work.

Exploring my role as a doula for the last 4 years has brought about profound healing for myself and so many of the families I have served, but it has also opened my eyes to the horrors of the birth world as we currently know it in the USA. I KNOW I am meant to serve my calling as a midwife and help make a shift in the devastating statistics we currently face. But I need your help.

I have found a midwifery school that is in alignment with my beliefs and my intentions as a student.

Indie Birth School offers a comprehensive education that will allow me to learn so much more about the clinical side of midwifery while also working hands on at births with other midwives in my local area to gain more experience. I am ready to invest in this education to better our community. I am ready to answer the call.
