Help puppy Merlin with his heart murmur

Im Hayley I have two French bulldogs. Aura and her little Merlin. Merlin is only 13 weeks old and at his first jab appointment I was told he had a heart murmur grade 4. They are graded 1-6 with 6 being the worst. You can actually hear his heart along with a loud wooshing noise and a fast heart rate even just with your ear near to his chest. Merlin was diagnosed during his pet insurance cooling off period which means they will not cover any costs or treatment and I can’t afford the vet bills myself along with life. If he needs surgery I don’t know how I will help him. He needs a heart scan first of all and and a ecg in order to find the root cause of his heart murmur which initially is near on to £1000. Possible hole in the heart or open vessel I have been told is common for his type of murmur.

im preparing for the worst so im able to go ahead and help him if need be. Surgery would be 5k+ for this kind of diagnosis. Merlin and Aura are a big part of my life and mental health. They are both adored dearly by me my son and my two baby nieces. With insurance that isn’t valid for what he possibly needs I’m at a loss with how I’m going to afford to help our little angel puppy. I’m hoping and manifesting that all will be manageable and he will live a long and happy life being loved by us all
