Help Send Meredith to NYC for Surgery!

I've attempted to think of a clever story or quote to begin, but I keep coming back to the same thing:
Meredith feels like a hug.
Everyone who knows her knows exactly what I mean. (If you're not sure, ask a child who knows her.) It does not matter if she is painting a mural on a dance studio wall late at night, screaming "diarrhea" at the top of her lungs in a public park to illicit a genuine smile for pictures, or raising 5 of the smartest, most compassionate and kind little boys you will ever encounter, Meredith oozes love to everyone around her.
Most of us didn't know she has been doing all of this through excruciating pain.
Recently, Meredith shared a post on Facebook about a quick trip to New York to see a doctor who specializes in endometrial issues. The doctor has taken on her case, and surgery has been scheduled for June 3rd. This is VERY exciting news but also comes with obscene monetary costs that have to be addressed quickly.
The surgery requires a steep out-of-pocket cost. In addition, there will be travel, meals and housing costs for the full week that Meredith is required to remain in New York City.
Meredith has shown so many of us her unending willingness to help whenever there is a need. Now we can show her our love and gratitude for her being her.
Let's be realistic: if asked, Meredith will downplay the impact of every aspect of this. I'm setting up this GoFundMe as a way to help her without her having to ask for help. All donations will be used to help cover the out of pocket costs and all the travel expenses that will come from this adventure.
