We are two best friends, Meredith & Jenna, who happened to start transitioning as trans women at the same time and want to further embark on our journey togeer. After meeting a few years ago through the drag scene in Utah, we instantly clicked and became inseparable, we had a connection that helped both of us realize our trans identities. While transitioning is such a personal and deeply emotional journey, having each other’s support along the way has made all the difference.

Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) has been something we have both been 100% certain on and something we're ready to embark on. This surgery is one that has changed the lives of many trans women, including some of our dear friends. After coming up on two years in our transition, we both personally found the thought of getting this gender affirming care unattainable. We used to half-joke about getting the surgery together and one day we realized, this is something we actually want to make happen. We started this journey together, and we want to continue together. That’s when we decided to put our minds together and start The Facial Femmes — a way for us to share our journey in hopes that people will understand the importance of gender affirming care, not just for us, but for trans people everywhere.

It’s humbling to ask for support, but this is something deeply important and genuinely life-changing. Whether it's $1, $100, or even just boosting our story, anything is so deeply appreciated and something we won't take for granted in helping create a world where gender affirming care isn't so difficult to access.
