My name is Meredith, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. Since February 2025, I have been unemployed, and my journey has been filled with health challenges, including hospitalization and ongoing autoimmune flare-ups. Despite my best efforts, including applying to over 1,200 jobs and reaching out to temp agencies, I haven’t been able to secure stable employment. At my most recent hire, I worked for just seven days before being let go, and my car has been in the repair shop for a week with no clear answers about what’s wrong.

On top of these struggles, my landlord has asked me to vacate my home so she can move back in. If I’m not out by May 5th, she will proceed with eviction. I have applied for state emergency relief and am waiting to hear back, but the uncertainty is overwhelming. The stress of these circumstances is taking a toll on my health, making it even harder to move forward.

I am raising funds to cover first month’s rent and a security deposit for a new place, moving expenses, car repairs, and utility bills so I can stay current and transfer services to a new location.
