My friend Mercy Irivwieri came to the USA to pursue her education and build a better future for herself and her family back home. While she has been working hard to set up her life here, tragedy struck and her mother became ill and sadly passed away on August 13th, 2025.

Now Mercy is faced with the heartbreaking task of arranging her mother’s funeral and handling family affairs from thousands of miles away, all while providing support for her younger brother’s education in Nigeria.

This is an incredibly heavy burden - emotionally, financially, and logistically - for anyone to carry, especially while far from home. Mercy has always been someone who gives her all for others, and now she needs our help.
