Help Mercy get her surgery.
Donation protected
Dear people, friends, family, students, teachers, and kindred spirits,
I'm Mercy's sister, and I’m writing to tell you that our much-beloved Mercy and her husband, Shiva Das were in a very severe automobile accident in Mexico in early September. Mercy’s injuries were many; the most acute was damage to her cervical vertebrae, creating a dangerous condition that could result in paralysis if not treated. The treatment is a complicated cervical spine surgery. There will be a long road to recovery.
Because of the complexity of her condition, Mercy and her family have decided to have this surgery done in the US. Medicare will cover the costs of the surgery but nothing before or afterward.
The funds we raise here will go toward Mercy's transportation to California, doctors' appointments, after-surgery care and physical therapy, medication, and living expenses (since she can’t work during recovery.)
Mercy's life work is embodying love through her teaching, yoga, soundbath work, and through her heart connections to people all over the world. Her radiant smile has touched many souls along her life's path.
She has built a life around giving and helping others - now is the time for us to show her our love and support.
