Help Mercedes Adams Find a Safe Home

Today my sister Mercedes Adams and her kids were forced out of their home.

When she came home from work, she found smoke coming from under the sink. She called 911, and the fire department discovered that something connected to the hot water heater had been burning through the floor. Because of the damage, her landlord told her it wasn’t safe for her and the kids to stay there.

Mercedes works two jobs — USPS and AllCare — to take care of her children, but right now they are displaced and need somewhere safe to go. I’m asking if anyone knows of resources, housing options, or any way to help her and the kids during this difficult time, please reach out.
