In the early morning of Thursday, September 4th, 2025, Merari experienced a very traumatic event where her RV caught fire. She was able to escape safely and unharmed. Unfortunately, her cat Indy did not survive. Although the fire was isolated to the kitchen area her RV sustained a lot of damage resulting in a complete loss. She was able to recover some household items and some of her clothing and is now working toward cleaning and attempting to remove the saturated smell of smoke in these items. This fire has taken her home, several belongings and her livelihood. We are starting this Go Fund Me to help Merari navigate her next steps to recover and rebuild.
