Hey everyone!

I hope you are all doing well and having a glorious summer.

This is not exactly easy for me because I pride myself on being able to figure things out on my own, or with the help of my family. But I am here to ask for your help in funding my move from Chicago to San Diego for my new position at the Museum of Us. As many of you know, I moved out to Chicago in 2018 as a newly wed. My family moved us and it was the start of my adventure out here!

Although my marriage did not work out, and I am the happiest I have ever been, I am left having to figure out how to move the larger items that I cant sell on my own. Plus I have to pay rent in Chicago until at least September and I am finding it hard to maintain all the costs!

Things are happening quickly and while I feel overwhelmed, I also feel incredibly loved by everyone who has sent me their best since announcing the job offer! So if you can't donate please just share with your networks.

I plan on writing personal letters to each donor and find other ways to give back; it is this type of thing that makes me wish I was crafty!

I appreciate all of you so much. The network I have made while out here in Chicago is more than I could have ever wished for and your acceptance of me has only lifted me higher. Pesa Mu!

Full transparency though: I did get a relocation bonus, but that money is reserved for payment/fees towards a new place in San Diego.
