Never in a million years did I think I’d be writing something like this, but here I am, asking for help for my dog, Mer Mer. She’s been my constant companion since she was three months old—the runt of the litter who needed a little extra care at first, but quickly grew into the happiest, most exuberant dog I’ve ever known. From camping trips with coyotes in the distance to EDM parties with friends, Mer Mer has been by my side for every adventure. She’s more than a pet—she’s family, and she’s brought so much love and joy into my life and the lives of everyone she meets.

Recently, Mer Mer was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her mouth. Hearing those words from the vet was one of the hardest moments I’ve faced. We’re currently in the process of having the tumor surgically removed, but her veterinarian has recommended radiation therapy afterward to give her the best chance at beating this and preventing it from coming back. The costs of surgery, diagnostics, and the specialized radiation treatment are overwhelming. I’ve done everything I can to make this happen for her, but I can’t do it alone.

I’m asking for any help—whether that’s donating or even just sharing this page. Every little bit truly makes a difference. Mer Mer is strong, loving, and full of life, and I’m not ready to give up on her. I want to give her the best chance possible.
