Animal Welfare assistance needed!

Currently in Vietnam and trying to get aid for a local family that has rescued a stray. Meo (pronounced "Meow" by the family that pulled her from the street) is in pretty rough shape. She was found because they followed her Meows (hence the name they gave her) to a storm drain, where she was stuck. The family that took her in is local, and not incredibly well off, but they've done what they can for her. However, she needs vet assistance that they can't afford.

She has an internal cancerous growth, and due to my own recent run-in with cancer lately, and the help I received, I feel pulled to help her and the family that has taken her in. Meo is in severe pain due to the location of an internal mass pressing intestines/stomach, BUT it can be removed, and her life could be significantly extended. The family does NOT want to put her down when she can be fixed, but they also don't want her in constant pain.

This is where we come in. I want to not only raise money for the medical expenses, but also raise enough money so that the family can continue to care for and love her as she deserves. In the short time they have taken her in, it's obvious that they have fallen in love with her.

I'm not one for New Years resolutions and the like, but beginning with the opportunity to save a life and bringing happiness to this family seems like a good way to start it.

Update:

I'm not giving up on her, but I've still only had 1 donation. I just spent the last of my personal money to get her pain medication and to make sure the woman that took her in had food for her, but that's just a Band-Aid. She's still in a lot of constant pain, and she needs this surgery or she's not going to survive the month. With the operation, she will have no pain and have years of life left.

Update 2:

If the funds can't be pulled together, she's likely going to have to be put down. This is a solvable issue, but without it, she will be in constant pain on top of likely starving from not wanting to eat due to the masses location.
