My name is Menna. I am a young mother trying to make my dream of becoming a Sonographer a reality. I am hitting financial road blocks with paying for my last few semesters of college. I am currently at the midway point in the Ultrasound program at Jackson College in Michigan. I need to finish this program to help make a better life for my family. I have applied for loans and financial aide but need help with the remaining balance to keep me enrolled in the program. We are doing the best we can being a one income family while I am unable to work due to the clinical hours required for the program.

I am originally from Egypt and was one of the top students in Egypt in high school and got into a very competitive program among hundreds of students apply every year with 10 students accepted each year.

I learned English in 6 months and was granted the chance to study in the U.S. because how advanced my grades were in high school.

I have done everything from side work or online jobs but my clinical time is about 40 hours a week so it has been very hard for me to keep a steady income.

This degree means everything to me and to a promising future that I can build helping patients and provide care..
