Margaret “Peggy” Parguey was a strong, loving woman who touched the lives of everyone around her. She was never afraid to speak her mind and carried herself with confidence and grace. As a devoted mother to her two sons, Michael and Stephen, Peggy poured her creativity and warmth into her family, crafting beautiful dolls and Fabergé eggs that brought joy to those she loved. Her spirit and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

After Peggy passed away, her husband took control of her finances and refused to use any of the money to provide her with a headstone. Even after selling their home, he chose not to honor her memory, leaving Peggy in an unmarked grave. For eight long years, her family and friends have felt powerless, unable to give her the recognition she so deeply deserves. Now, with her husband remarried and no longer next of kin, we finally have the opportunity to stand up for Peggy and ensure she is memorialized with dignity and love.

The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing and installing a headstone for Peggy at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, following the cemetery’s requirements. If we are able, we would also like to include a flower package so her grave can be honored throughout the year. For nearly a decade, flowers and tributes have not been allowed, as maintenance workers discard anything left on what appears to be an empty plot. Your support will help us finally give Peggy the tribute she deserves and bring peace to her family and friends who have carried this pain for so long.
