Hello friends and family,

On October 29, 2022, I received a call from my sister Dehlia in California. She informed me that our four-year-old nephew Memo had just got admitted to the ICU with a significant mass on his chest. Our sister Kat, his mom, had been taking Memo to the doctor once a week for about six weeks because he struggled to breathe and eat without choking, but he would get sent home saying that he must have a cold and that he had to work through it. Finally, on October 29, my sister took him to the ER because he had swollen glands, and they gave him an x-ray that showed a large mass across his little chest; after some blood work, he was diagnosed with Leukemia Lymphoma, but they could not figure out what stage he was in because the mass was too big to conduct the procedure safely. Memo was finally diagnosed with stage one and quickly began chemotherapy. My sister and her family are on a long road to recovery, and while it is stage 1, it's so scary, and the medical bills are becoming extensive. Additionally, my sister has taken several weeks off work to care for Memo. I want to support my sis and nephew so they can put their energy into healing. A child should never have to go through this, and a mother should never have to endure seeing her baby in so much pain. You all know how much family means to me. We would appreciate any support you can offer, anything helps, and we also appreciate all the prayers, loving thoughts, and healing vibes.
