Hi, my name is Sarah. I'm starting this for fundraiser for my grandmother Barbara Frances Duley, lovingly known by all as "Memaw."

In December of 2019, Memaw lost her husband (our Pop-pop) of 63 years after a long battle with his health. Since then, she has faced her first Christmas, Easter, Father's Day, Mother's, Day, and Birthdays without the loving husband she shared her life with for over 6 decades.

On April 27th of this year, the unimaginable happened. The home that Memaw shared with Pop-pop was tragically lost to an unexplained house fire. The home and barn that had sheltered Memaw, Pop, Uncle Robert, and their animals for 20 years is gone. Outside of some furniture, the house, barn and all items are considered a total loss. While insurance is covering a good portion of the loss, it is not enough to restore the house as it was.

In addition to being displaced and losing all of Pop-pop's possessions, Memaw is the primary caretaker for her son who son suffers from cancer and diabetes. She and Pop have taken care of him through these illnesses since he was first diagnosed in 2018.

After the loss of Pop-pop, my Memaw has shown immeasurable strength. After the loss of their shared home, she has done the same. I would like to rally around and provide the same support to her that she has freely given to all who have encountered her.

All donations will go directly to the rebuilding of Memaw's home.
