Melvin Harris is finally home.
After years away from his family, he’s returned with one goal in mind — to rebuild his life and start over.
Before everything happened, Melvin was a hardworking father and a skilled mechanic who owned his own custom auto shop. He spent years building and restoring cars, creating for his community, and providing for his family through his craft.
But after a tragic incident involving a confrontation with a man who approached a restroom where his daughter was, Melvin was convicted of manslaughter. The situation changed his life forever.
During the legal process and time away, Melvin lost everything — his business, his tools, and the foundation he worked so hard to build.
Now he’s home.
And like many people returning home after serving their time, he’s starting from nothing.
But what hasn’t changed is his work ethic, his skills, and his desire to provide for his family the right way.
We’re raising funds to help Melvin rebuild his life and get back to what he knows best — working with his hands and creating through his auto shop.
Your support will help Melvin:
• Replace essential tools and equipment
• Begin rebuilding his custom auto shop
• Cover basic living expenses during his transition
• Take real steps toward stability and independence
Melvin has paid his debt to society.
Now he deserves a chance to move forward.
If you believe in second chances, in rebuilding, and in giving someone the opportunity to stand back on their own — any support means everything.
Thank you for being part of his next chapter.
