Help Melonie fight breast cancer

Hi my name is Katelynn and I'm creating this fundraiser to help my mom Melonie.

First of all Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to hear her story and check out this page. :)

If you know my mom then you know how awesome of a person she is. She's been cutting hair for over 30 years in the DFW area and providing a quality service and enjoyable atmosphere to all of her clients. It's been especially hard on my parents these last 2 years with the pandemic and just everything. My mom is already pretty much the main income for them since my father can only work part time since he is on disability for multiple reasons. So when we got the unfortunate news that my mom was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Lobular Carcinoma in her breast in lymph node at the end of 2021 it was a not so fun end to a not so fun year to say the least. With this diagnosis we also got the news that she will have to undergo chemotherapy treatment as well, and with that comes the reality that she won't be able to work as much as she does now if at all during the treatment. With that being said this diagnosis is going to take an really big toll on my parents financially and emotionally. Thankfully she has a really strong support system but it takes a village so we are asking for help from ours.
