My name is Melody. I am a 30-year-old wife and mother of a handsome 4-year-old boy. I graduated from Hermitage High School in 2013. I recently underwent surgery for a semicolon resection from an abscess in my lower colon. In surgery, they discovered that it was not an abscess but in fact stage 3 colon cancer. They removed the tumor but are unsure if I still have cancer in my colon or other structures.

I am raising money for the oncologist (cancer doctor) appointments and the treatments I will have to undergo. As of now, we know I most likely will be having chemotherapy, and insurance doesn't cover the entire cost of the treatments.

Some will go towards traveling expenses to and from treatments. Some of the money raised will pay for medications.

The remainder of donations will go directly to the Cancer Center to pay for medical treatments like the chemotherapy injections.

I am a fighter and I'm gonna fight this for my family and especially for my son. So any little donation to help pay for medical bills would be greatly appreciated.
