Help Melo & Marshmellow Fight FIP and Survive

Update (04/18/2026): Since Doremon is not there anymore, his parent's wish is to give away Doremon's share of the fund for another furbaby's treatment. Marshmellow, who had already undergone FIP treatment for 3 months, is still positive for FIP. Therefore, a second round of treatment has been initiated. Marshmellow's parent desperately needs assistance to cover the second 90-day treatment.
So, now the fund will cover Mello and Marshmellow's treatment.
Please help me in raising the money for the treatment of these furbabies
Update (04/14/2026): Doremon, like his brother, could not make it. The targeted fund raise has been reduced. After Maria and Saima's expenses are covered, if there is any left over fund, that will be donated to other pet parent(s), struggling to pay for their cat's treatment.

Melo and Doremon are more than just pets, they are beloved companions to Maria and Saima, two college students in Bangladesh who have poured their hearts into caring for them. Recently, both cats were diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a disease that was once considered a death sentence. Thanks to advances in veterinary medicine, there is now hope: with a full 84-day course of antiviral treatment, up to 90% of cats can survive and go on to live happy, healthy lives.

Maria and Saima have already spent their savings on initial tests, consultations, and the first doses of medication. Melo, a 10-month-old bicolor kitten, and Doremon, a playful 5-month-old, both began treatment as soon as possible. Tragically, Saima’s other kitten, Leo, did not survive, making the fight for Doremon’s life even more urgent. Earlier, one vial was shared between brothers Leo and Doraemon, which is why the requirement remains high. The cost of the medication, GS-441524, an antiviral drug, is overwhelming for students already struggling with tuition and daily expenses. Melo still needs 9 more vials, and Doremon requires 12 to complete their treatments. In addition to the medication, there are costs for FIP panel tests, vet fees, and other necessary care.

Your support will help Maria and Saima continue the life-saving treatment for Melo and Doremon, cover follow-up care, and give these cherished cats the best chance at survival. Every donation, no matter how small, brings them closer to recovery. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign. Your kindness and compassion can help turn this story of loss into one of hope.
