Hi everyone, I’m reaching out on behalf of my girlfriend and our dog, Mellow, who means absolutely everything to us. Mellow is a 12 year old Chihuahua mix and he is our baby, our prince, our special boy. He loves to cuddle with us under the covers, keep our cats in line when it comes to food time, and supports two mentally ill lesbians who would not survive without his constant love and affection!

Recently, we found a tumor next to Mellow's anal glands. He urgently needs a anal sacculectomy procedure in order to remove the tumor, get it biopsied, and to make sure it doesn't get worse or cause him to feel any more discomfort or pain. Thankfully, his preliminary scans showed there most likely is no cancer spread to the rest of his body, so his chances of a full recovery are very high. Unfortunately, the cost of this procedure is more than we can manage on our own right now. We are doing everything we can, but we need help. This surgery will give Mellow the chance to live comfortably and stay with us for more years! Our goal is to get him to his Quinceañera.
