Mello has been a beloved part of our family for over five years, bringing joy and laughter to our home every day. He’s a young dog with a big personality—famous for his love of butt rubs and his quirky fears of cars, water, and hardwood floors. Mello’s gentle spirit and silly antics have made him a favorite not just with us, but with everyone who meets him.

Recently, Mello began experiencing severe, unexplained nosebleeds and has lost about 10% of his body weight. We rushed him to our regular vet and then to an emergency clinic, but so far, no one has been able to figure out what’s wrong. The next step is to see an internal medicine specialist, which comes with significant costs for the visit and the testing he’ll need.

This situation has been especially hard on my 13-year-old son, Alex, who is incredibly close to Mello and has been by his side every day, caring for him and offering comfort. My older son Cameron and I are also deeply worried, and our whole family is heartbroken watching our sweet dog struggle. We’re reaching out for help so we can get Mello the care he needs and hopefully bring him back to his happy, goofy self. Any support means the world to us and to Mello.
