It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of a profound loss. Our dear friend, Melissa Lennon, lost her courageous battle with cancer on May 22, 2024. Melissa passed peacefully at home surrounded by her husband Mike of 26 years and two children, Michael and Kate. Melissa was only 52 years old at the time of her passing, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and service to others.

Melissa was known for her kindness, her sense of humor and her ability to connect with everyone she met. Her commitment to serving others was evident in every aspect of her life. As a Registered Nurse, Melissa provided exceptional care and compassion. As a devoted wife and loving mother, she was a source of love, guidance and inspiration. As a Navy Veteran, she exemplified courage and dedication.

The world is a lesser place without our beautiful friend.

Mike, a former Navy seal and now a firefighter, has always been a pillar of strength and service. His bravery and dedication to protecting others have made a significant impact, both in his military career and his role as a first responder. Throughout Melissa's illness, Mike stood by her side, offering relentless love, care and comfort, embodying the true essence of love and commitment.

Together, Mike and Melissa built a beautiful life, raising their two wonderful children, Michael and Kate. Now, in the face of this heartbreaking loss, we are reaching out in hopes of rallying support for Melissa’s family during this incredibly challenging time. Your contributions will help alleviate financial strain, making room to focus on healing and supporting the children through their grief, as they begin to build their lives without Melissa.
