Melissa’s daughter Jolissa, and son-in-law, Caba are facing an unimaginable crisis after their young child of 2 years old, Alina Caba tragically drowned and is now on life support. Both parents are residing at the hospital, unable to work, as they focus all their energy on their baby’s fight for life. The emotional toll is immense, and they are struggling to keep up with mounting medical bills, living expenses, and the mortgage while they remain by their baby’s side.

This family’s needs go beyond the hospital walls. Their dedication to the FDNY profession never prepared them for this but they are being strong and fighting hard with Alina. They have 2 other children and a home that need to be taken care of during this tragic time, one is preparing to start college next month and a 4 year old. Prayers for ALINA CABA are greatly appreciated. God is amazing.. With both parents on leave, the challenge of caring for their other children and keeping up with the household has become overwhelming. Funds raised will help cover medical costs, help with support of the siblings, maintain their home, and ensure the family can stay together during this heartbreaking time. I need to add some devastating news about my granddaughter’s current situation. After 2 weeks on life support she did not survive. She gained her wings and is with God now. My daughter and husband donated her organs and saved 3 children. This is devastating news and Mom and Dad want to give her the funeral and burial

that she deserves.
