Hi, my name is Sherri and I am fundraising for my friend Melissa Harrington. She has been in pain for months and just found out she needs a hip replacement. She is a single mom and master retailer for a local company but would not be paid for the six weeks she needs to recuperate. No work. No pay. She works two jobs and needs to be on her feet all day so 6 weeks of postoperative rest is required. She goes out of her way to help anyone so now it is time to give back when she needs help the most. She has insurance but of course they do not cover all of the cost. No one should have to put off surgery worrying about how they will make it through without pay.

Well last week they finally told me I'll need to replace my right hip I've been to countless chiropractors, physical therapy, and injections and hip and back specialists trying to avoid this... But with severe osteoarthritis in both hips and now with last weeks xrays it's bone on bone in my hip joint
As a past dancer and someone who has always worked in a standing career, you can imagine every step is painful.. Movement is limited and I need to have this hip replaced sooner than later.. Sydney is away at school.. (her dad doesn't help with much) and even with health insurance I don't know exactly what costs I'll face PLUS I work for a small business and have no short term disability
My sweet friend Sherri Fritsch-Beyer decided to put together a go fund me to see if she could help with the 6 weeks I'd have to take off unpaid from my regular and part time gigs... (I have to say I cried when I saw she did that)
I'm hoping to try to schedule it for late August or September... Then with recovery I'll hopefully be back to work for the Christmas season... I could definitely use all the positive thoughts and prayers on this journey.. And if you decide to donate... thank you so very much... You have no idea how you will be contributing to a better quality of life with out this awful pain
